Emotional intelligence is abut managing your energies more positively. Human beings pickup emotions very easily from others. e.g. if someone is angry and you are present there then his negative energy flows in us and we feel uncomfortable. This happens in hospitals also, people in hospital are very stressed and very emotionally drained because of condition of their relative who is admit in the hospital. If we go there our mood also get down, we become little stressed and feel less energetic. This happens because we catch the negative energy of others and positive energy gets drained rapidly. In this case some people with less ability to cope up with negative energy get more affected. That’s why some people avoid entering in hospitals as they had experienced the impact of negative energy earlier and they could not tackle with that. So, how to avoid entry of emotional negative energy in us? Let’s be mindful of our thoughts, let’s observe impact of negative thoughts on us physically and mentally. Be mindful of your breathing. Mostly breathing gets shallow during negativity and we feel contraction in the body. When breath gets attention it resumes it’s normal speed and pattern and we feel relaxed and ready to cope up with any problematic situations. We can increase your awareness about sounds coming from surroundings and focus our attention on the sounds. This makes free mind free of thoughts and helps regaining in positive energy.
